SACOPA Finals 2017 – FINAL program

Dear SACOPA Contestant,

These are the FINAL Schedules for each Event (Click to download each schedule). There will be no special sheets as in the past. No Changes will be done to this Schedule at all!

Please ensure that you arrive on time and at the correct venue for your audition.

 Please note

  • All Dancers and Vocals you can start from 07h00 to hand in your music and cd’s for the week. The RVR Production team will be there to assist you.
  • All Vocals that needs to use a Acoustic Piano to accompany your vocals, please send an urgent email to b2000@iafrica.com.
  • There will be no special sheets be done after tonight. No Changes at all.
  • Please remember the traffic to get to NASREC is hectic, rather leave and travel earlier and make sure you are on time for your performance or run the risk of being disqualified for being late.If you need more information, please send an email to Dr Ellen (b2000@iafrica.com).

SACOPA 2017 – The Finals are here – Are you ready?

31st march 2017 at NASREC – Registration for the SA Championships of Performing Arts

Registration for the SA Championships will be on the 31st march 2017 at NASREC.

The registration procedure on the day of the finals at the venue will be as follow:

  1. Entrance and parking will be at gate 5
  2. In the foyer you will find people that will direct you to the registration desk.
  3. Registration time is strictly at 10h00 – 13h00 and is compulsory for all participants; no other person will be able to register on your behalf.
  4. Please change into your province’s T-Shirt for the OPENING CEREMONY which will start at: [Time]

To order your T-Shirt you need to complete the order form given to you at the Auditions stage inside the contestant handbook, and send it to bernie@sacopa.co.za with your proof of payment before the 28th February 2017.

Please read your contestant handbook – you will find all the important information to help you through the process.

Registration for the SACOPA Final Event on 31 March 2017

Dear Contestant,

Congratulations you have made it to the South African Championships for the Performing Arts FINALS!!

 Here are some important guidelines on what you need to follow, to ensure you have successfully registered for the final event on March 31, 2017.

  1. You can only participate in the EVENT/S you have qualified in (Dance, Acting, Modelling, Instruments, Variety or Vocal)
    1. Example: if you only qualified for the Dance event, you may not enter other events, and if you qualified for both Dance and Vocal, you can only participate in the Dance and Vocal events, and so on.
  2. You may however enter as many STYLES as you wish for the EVENT you qualified in.

VERY IMPORTANT:

  1. This year the SA Championships are being held at NASREC in Johannesburg – click here for directions.
  2. It is imperative that your entry reach us no later than March 8, 2017 so that all entries can be captured in time
    1. You will not be allowed to take part if your entry is not submitted by this date.
    2. You were given the Entry Form at the Auditions round. If you don’t have it contact us urgently.
  3. You will find the Final program available at SACOPA.co.za from the 20th March 2017.
    1. Please access the website and confirm that your entry details are correctly entered:
      • Gender (Male or Female)
      • Date of Birth
        1. Note: Your age as at the 31st March 2017, will determine your competition age category.
        2. Remember – This competition age is calculated by computer and cannot be changed.
      • Events and Styles that you have qualified and entered
  4. From the 20th March, you will only have 4 days to check your entry details are correct.
  5. The FINAL PROGRAM will then be published on the website on the 24th March 2017
  6. NO CHANGES to the program will be done after the 24th march 2017.

If you did not correct the details of your entry, you will have to compete as is.
